概要 Using survey data collected by the author, this study empirically examines the factors influencing the financial performance of for-profit and nonprofit social enterprises in both hostile and benign environments. The findings reveal that, unlike FPOs, environmental hostility does not impact the financial performance of NPOs. Additionally, leaders with strong social capital are more successful in improving financial performance across both types of enterprises.
