| 概要 | Despite the focus on emotions within second language(L2)writing research, current methodologies remain fundamentally unequipped to capture their generative nature. The dominant paradigms conceptualize emotions as static and labeled products, thereby obscuring their pre-verbal,embodied origins. Drawing on a critical review and synthesis of research on emotion in L2 writing, affective second language acquisition(SLA), and embodied cognition, this paper presents a socio-phenomenological framework integrating Gendlin’s felt sense and interpretative phenomenological analysis to address this methodological challenge. Grounded in the theory of constructed emotion and embodied cognition, this paper argues that L2 writing is not just cognitive information processing but a somatic interface where interoceptive signals are translated into linguistic symbols. This reconceptualization of writing as an embodied act, in turn, reframes L2 proficiency as the recalibration of embodied categorization systems. Finally, this paper discusses a research agenda that prioritizes longitudinal inquiry and physiological triangulation to empirically validate the ways in which somatic awareness influences language retrieval, proposing a biologically grounded theoretical reorientation for the field. |
