概要 This paper analyzes demand shortages and unemployment using a model with habit-forming consumption and irreversible physical investment. Consumption demand is endogenously satiated through forming habits. Then I find that full employment is incompatible with the condition of market equilibrium if there exists sufficiently large physical capital. This means that unemployment persists whatever the wage.
