概要 The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the Trap-neuter-return (TNR) subsidy project by Osaka City, Japan.There was no significant effect of TNR on impoundment, complaints, or welfare of free-roaming cats. Instead, the effects of the socio-economic variables were statistically significant for increased impoundment and complaints suggesting poverty, educational level, and age of the human population had more impact on free-roaming cats than the TNR project.
